It's been a while, my non existent followers.
Updates to my life, I'm still conscripted with 4 odd months to go before I can finally see the pink ray of freedom in November. Physically, I've put on an astonishing 7kgs after a period of insane eating and gym workouts. I've to admit that the former played a far larger role with its effect compounded with the sedentary lifestyle of an intelligence assistant(or so i wished).
But, all that didn't really had much impact on my life, relative to pre-enlistment at least. What I would truly label as invaluable would be the exposure I've gained in the past one year or so. Without the least bit of exaggeration, my unit has every sort of people you can/cannot expect to meet. To plot them on a scale, you would have an even spread with those intellectually disabled on the extreme left and the extremely intelligent on the other end. I won't be dwelling much on this but you get the point. Your perceptions of what used to be right/wrong can alter drastically under the daily influence of these peers.
Though I'm guilty of occasionally succumbing to laziness, I can confidently say that only around 10% of my time were procrastinated away. Room for improvement? Definitely yes. I really have to continue checking off my daily list of must-reads. Having realized how under-read and ignorant I've been for the past 21 years, it's no doubt time for hard work to kick in. Cultivating the habit of reading can be tough, but it's going to be god damn worth it.
Right, I guess that's all I've to rant for today.
Until next time, ciao.
